It's no secret that I'm real obsessed with pasta. Since I make all of my favorite pasta dishes the way that I like, I'm super picky and critical of restaurant pasta dishes. And that right there, is how you know this list is legit - because it's full of pasta dishes that are just as good or even better than my all-time favorite personal pasta creations. The list isn't ranked or anything, just a collection of my fave pasta dishes in Cleveland!
Cheese TORTELLINI MIA BELLAYes, I will drive 40 minutes away to eat this without thinking twice about it. Plus, Cleveland's Little Italy is a super cute part of town. Whenever I go, I order it and I make whoever I'm with order the tortellini too because even though the portion is huge, you'll want as much as you can get.
SACCHETTI LUCA WESTThe best kind of purse is a pasta purse filled with white truffle and ricotta, doused in tartufata cream sauce and drizzled with aged fig balsamic. TO DIE FOR.
Penne Alla Carbonara molto beneEvery time I go to Molto Bene, I have the hardest time trying to decide between the carbonara and the linguine vongole and since I have two other linguine and clam options on this list, I figured I would point out the carbonara! You really can’t go wrong here to be honest, we REALLY love the cheese.
Linguine & Clams GuarinosAnother option for my favorite seafood pasta – except it’s on the opposite side of town as the restaurant listed above. So depending on what part of town you are near, either one will do just fine.
TAGLIATELLE LAGO EAST BANKI love Lago's Salerno Family Meatballs. They are just so good. Everyone also dies over the lobster gnocchi but I've obviously never tried it since I'm allergic and I suck
LINGUINE WITH CLAM SAUCE NINO'S ITALIAN RESTAURANTI've been eating at Nino's with my parents for SO LONG. It's in North Ridgeville which isn't a city I frequent or would send someone to, but if you love traditional Italian pasta and a low key dinner - this is your spot. (They also have amazing gluten free pasta!
3 Course Pasta Tasting The Black PigThe pasta dishes are always changing here so I don't have a favorite. Wait - I lied, I love the mushroom agnolotti. But if you're indecisive like me, they offer a three course pasta tasting menu and it's so fun to eat!! (The pasta is always super al dente here, so if you like your pasta cooked that way, here ya go!)
